Esoterica
2025 Solo Exhibition
There are places in the world—deep in the folds of mountains, beneath the roots of forgotten trees, between the seconds of time—that whisper in tongues older than language.
This exhibition presents a series of ink illustrations that explore ritual, myth, and the eerie gravity of cosmic decay. The works depict strange beings in liminal spaces — part temple, part void — engaged in ceremonies that feel both ancient and ongoing.
Symbols repeat like echoes. Figures emerge from shadow. Each piece is a threshold that holds silence, memory, and the suggestion of something watching just beyond perception. These figures are not monsters, but presences.
Not horrors, but inevitabilities.
It is an attempt at a quiet descent into older patterns, older fears—an encounter with that which resists understanding.
A map of places that should not exist, and yet do, just beneath the surface.
Time folds. Meaning slips.
You are invited to remember what was never meant to be known.
“I have seen the dark universe yawning
Where the black planets roll without aim,
Where they roll in their horror unheeded,
Without knowledge, or lustre, or name.”
— Nemesis (poem, 1918)
